APEC is the premier economic forum in the Asia-Pacific. Comprised of the United States and 20 other economies in the region, APEC was established in 1989 to enhance econ
omic growth and prosperity, as well as to strengthen the Asia-Pacific community. Through their commitment to economic cooperation and open trade and investment, APEC economies are leading the world in poverty reduction and social development.
The MT Host Committee, in place to cover everything from hospitality & logistics to security, transportation, communications, signage, and special events, has brought together dozens of statewide businesses and community partners to ensure the finest and most productive and successful conference for our national and international visitors.
The United States will be joined by Trade Ministers, Senior Officials, and delegates from economies including The Russia Federation, People's Republic of China, Korea, Chinese Taipei, Thailand, Hong Kong-China, Japan, Viet Nam, The Republic of the Philippines, Malaysia, Singapore, Brunei Darussalam, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Peru, Mexico and Canada.
